Athlete statuses, and which one to use
Active, Injured, Inactive and Archived — what each does to registers, invoices and your plan count.

| Status | Use it when | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Training normally | Appears on registers and in reporting |
| Injured | Temporarily out but still a member | Stays on the roster, visible to coaches |
| Inactive | Stopped attending, may return | Off registers, record retained |
| Archived | Left the club | Off registers and out of day-to-day views |
Archiving is not deleting. The record is retained — which is usually what you want, because you may still need their attendance or invoice history. If a family has actually asked to be erased, that is a different process.
Nothing in Proletics deletes athlete records automatically, including long-inactive ones. Settings → Retention lists former athletes with three or more years of inactivity so you can review and erase them deliberately.
