What the badges mean and why one arrived by email.

Badges recognise something your child has done — completing a level, reaching an attendance milestone, or something a coach awards at their own discretion.
Some are automatic: the moment a coach signs off the last skill at a level, the badge appears and you get an email about it. Others are given by a coach for things a system cannot measure, like effort or club spirit.
The badge shelf shows both what your child has earned and what is still to come, which is often the more motivating half.
Not every club uses badges. An empty shelf means your club has not set them up, not that your child has earned nothing.
